How to Commission an Artwork with One Mind Lab?
Have you ever dreamed of owning a unique piece of art tailored to you and your space? At One Mind Lab, I make that dream a reality with my bespoke art commission service, created just for you.
Why Commission an Artwork?
Commissioning an artwork allows you to collaborate with me to create a piece that resonates with you personally. It’s an opportunity to bring your vision to life, whether it’s for your home, office, or a special gift.
How the Commission Process Works
Send an Enquiry: Begin by sending me an enquiry with details about the commission, including your budget, the desired size of the artwork and if possible a picture of the space/wall.
Create the Brief: I’ll collaborate with you to develop a brief for the desired artwork. This ensures that all your preferences and specifications are captured.
Sign the Commission Note: Once the details are agreed upon, you’ll sign a commission note outlining all the terms and conditions of the project.
Make a Down Payment: An initial payment of 50% of the artwork’s agreed cost is required to begin the creative process.
Regular Updates & Feedback: Throughout the creation process, you’ll receive regular updates with photos and notes from me. This allows you to provide feedback and ensure the artwork is progressing as envisioned.
Final Payment and Delivery: Once the artwork is complete and you’re satisfied, you’ll pay the remaining 50% plus the shipping fee. Payment can be made with debit or credit card as well as bank transfers.

Will I get progress updates?
Yes, we provide regular photos and updates. You can give feedback throughout the process.
How do I pay for a commissioned artwork?
We require an initial 50% payment after the brief is finalized. The remaining 50% plus shipping is due upon completion.
Can I request a discount on commissions?
The price of a commission is agreed by both yourself and One Mind Lab. As the artwork is custom made, I cannot accept discounts on the price of the commission.
Can I return a commissioned artwork?
Due to their bespoke nature, returns are not accepted. I work closely with you to ensure satisfaction before shipping.
How much will it cost?
Prices vary based on the art and size of the artwork. We’ll discuss your budget and confirm the price before starting.
How long will it take?
Timeframes vary depending on the artwork's complexity and my studio calendar/availability. We can discuss deadlines before beginning.
